Many aquarists – freshwater and saltwater hobbyists alike – struggle with the appearance of algae on the walls of their aquariums.  While limiting light exposure and reducing phosphates and nitrates can help ward off algae growth, most aquariums will still get a little of this unsightly nuisance.
