Educational Programs Spring Break Camp
Spring Break Camp

Wild About Animals! Spring Break Camp.

Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, Ages 5-8, March 16th-20th

Registration is now open! Remember spots are limited!

Monday - Small Mammals;     Tuesday - Birds;     Wednesday - Fish ;     Thursday - Reptiles;      Friday - Campers choice!

PirateboyDuring Wild About Animals, we learn all about how we take care of the animals at Pet World everyday, how to handle and hold various animals, what they eat, and how to feed them! We get hands on experience with the animals participating in their everyday care with the Pet World employees.

During camp we learn several lessons like predator vs. prey animals as well as pets vs. wild animals. Every day is themed.

Monday - Mammals
Tuesday - Birds
Wednesday - Fish
Thursday - Reptiles
Friday - Camper's Choice!

Each day we have periods of free time when campers interact with the animal of their choice. Some choose these times to read a book on the animals they're most interested in, hold the animal, interact with the other campers, or ask us as many questions they can think of about their favorite animal! This camp is a lot like our summer camp, Animal Camp, only without the field trips. We spend our time at Pet World since it's typically still cold over spring break in Kansas!

Pet World provides snacks and drinks but kids bring a sack lunch Monday through Thursday. Friday we walk across the parking lot for Wheat State PIzza, provided by Pet World at no additional charge!

Registration is $180/per child ($175 for any additional siblings). Limited Spots Available
